Wallbox Quasar is a compact bidirectional DC EV charger designed for selected CHAdeMO-compatible electric vehicles. Unlike normal AC chargers, Quasar connects directly through DC charging and can support two-way energy flow where the vehicle, electrical installation and local regulations allow.

Before offering or installing Quasar, compatibility must be checked carefully. It is not suitable for every EV.
CHAdeMO Vehicle Required
Quasar is intended for compatible EVs with CHAdeMO DC charging connection.
Not a Type 2 AC Charger
Quasar is a DC bidirectional charger. For normal Type 2 AC charging, consider Wallbox Pulsar, Copper SB or Commander 2.
V2H / V2G Depends on Approval
Discharging to the home or grid may require additional protection, metering, grid approval and utility acceptance.
Installation Package
The installation package must be finalised after site assessment because Quasar is a DC bidirectional charger and may require additional engineering review compared with normal AC chargers.
